Illinois Wesleyan University won the 2025 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Soccer Championship, defeating North Park University 1-0 at Neis Field in Bloomington, Illinois, on Saturday. This marks the Titans’ second CCIW tournament title, with their previous championship coming in 2023.

The match’s only goal came from Joey Rodino, who converted a penalty kick at the 21:55 mark of the first half. It was Rodino’s fourth goal of the season and proved decisive for Illinois Wesleyan.

North Park applied consistent offensive pressure throughout the game, outshooting Illinois Wesleyan 23-16 and holding a 10-8 advantage in shots on target. However, Illinois Wesleyan goalkeeper Sam Kedzior recorded a shutout with ten saves during the full ninety minutes. The Titan defense held firm to preserve the narrow lead.

North Park goalkeeper Ludvig Almborg made seven saves on eight shots faced. Both teams finished with two corner kicks each.
