Concluding their 2024-25 season, the North Central College men's tennis team was defeated by Swarthmore College in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The match took place at Denison Tennis Courts, where Swarthmore, ranked No. 9, secured a 4-0 victory.

Swarthmore's top doubles team is nationally ranked at No. 4. Despite efforts from Ramon Vilarroig Martinez and Matthew Sengphommachanh, they were overcome with a score of 6-3. Additionally, Swarthmore claimed a win at No. 2 doubles with a score of 6-1 to earn the doubles point. Meanwhile, Justin Penados and Ignacio Hernandez Ruiz led 4-3 in their match at No. 3 doubles before the overall point was decided.

In singles competition, North Central dropped matches in straight sets at positions No. 3, 4, and 6 as Swarthmore clinched the victory with a final score of 4-0. Notably, Vilarroig Martinez won his first set against Micahel Melnikov, who is ranked No. 10 in Division III singles.

The Cardinals conclude their season with an overall record of 15-7 and a conference record of 6-1, earning them their fourth College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Championship.
