Jacque O’Neill, a senior at Illinois Wesleyan, has been recognized as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Golf Student-Athlete of the Week. The announcement was made on Tuesday.

O'Neill, originally from Harbor Springs, Michigan, has achieved this honor twice in 2025. Recently, she secured a tie for second place at the Cardinal Classic held on April 21 and 22. Her performance helped lead Illinois Wesleyan University to a second-place finish in the team standings. Her score of 155 was achieved through rounds of 76 and 79.

This runner-up placement represents the sixth time O’Neill has finished in the top five in her collegiate career. Notably, it was the highest placement for a CCIW golfer at the tournament.

The list of 2024-25 CCIW Women's Golf Student-Athletes of the Week includes several names from Illinois Wesleyan, with O’Neill being acknowledged on April 30 and April 2. Macy Ludwig and Grace Fagan were also recognized for their performances in various weeks leading up to this announcement.
