Bryan Moore Associate Executive Director | College Conference Of Wisconsin And Illinois
Illinois Wesleyan's senior golfer, Quinn Clifford, earned the title of Student-Athlete of the Week by the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) on Tuesday. Clifford emerged as the top player among a field of 116 at Millikin's Take Back The Night Challenge, which took place at Red Tail Run Golf Club and South Side Country Club over the past weekend. He posted impressive rounds of 68 and 67, tallying a 7-under-par score of 135. This achievement contributed significantly to the Titans' victory in the 20-team competition.
This recognition marks Clifford as the CCIW Men's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week for the final week of April. This series of weekly honors has seen participation from various schools, with Jonah Swartz of Wheaton and Raj Sethi of Illinois Wesleyan among the previously acknowledged athletes.
