DuPage County taxpayers paid just over $70.2 million in County Share of RTA Sales Tax in 2024, according to Illinois tax records.

This figure marks a noticeable increase over the previous year, when County Share of RTA Sales Tax collection stood just under $68.1 million.

The County Share of RTA Sales Tax, a crucial revenue stream, is primarily allocated for other taxing jurisdictions' use.
