Mariellyn Vivo Conference Coordinator | College Conference Of Wisconsin And Illinois

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has named its Women's Lacrosse Student-Athletes of the Week for the period from March 10 to March 16.

Madison Langewisch, a junior from Augustana, was recognized as the Offensive Player of the Week. Langewisch scored five goals in a game against Beloit and repeated this feat in a 15-13 victory over Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Her performance for the week included a total of 13 points, comprising an assist against Beloit and two assists against UWSP. Additionally, she recorded 16 draw controls, seven ground balls, and one caused turnover over these two games.

On the defensive side, Jacq Vanoni from Elmhurst earned her second recognition as Defensive Player of the Week in 2025. Vanoni maintained a goals-against average of 5.86 and a .571 saves percentage across two victories last week while facing 40 shots overall. She achieved a season-high with 14 saves during an 8-7 win over MSOE on Saturday and also contributed three ground balls and one caused turnover in that match.

The list of CCIW Women’s Lacrosse Student-Athletes of the Week for offensive performances includes Madison Langewisch on March 18, Abby MacKenzie from North Central on March 11, August Claridge from Carthage on March 4, and Elizabeth Wang from Carroll on February 25.

For defensive accolades, Jacq Vanoni was honored on both March 18 and February 25. Other recipients were Grace Tumilty from Carroll on March 11 and Mia Fiandaca from Illinois Wesleyan on March 4.
