CCIW athletes prepare for NCAA Division III indoor track & field championship

The NCAA Division III Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championship is set to take place this Friday and Saturday at the Golisano Training Center in Rochester, New York. The event will feature 24 entries from student-athletes of the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW).

Seven CCIW programs will have representation at the national meet, with these entries spread across ten different events. Notably, six student-athletes from the league have qualified for the 200 meter dash. Additional participants from CCIW will compete in events such as the 60 meter dash, 400 meter dash, long jump, triple jump, shot put, and weight throw.

Elmhurst University leads with seven entries following their victory at the CCIW indoor championship on March 1. Competitors from Elmhurst include Alyssa Busker, Lauren Marshall, Chloe Selmer, and Paulina Tinajero. Marshall has qualified for three events: the 60 meter dash, 200 meter dash, and long jump. Similarly, Augustana's McKenzie Reser will compete in the 60 meter dash, 200 meter dash, and 400 meter dash.

The competition begins on Friday at 9:20 a.m. CT and continues on Saturday starting at 10 a.m. CT.
