Elmhurst senior Lorrie Decker has been recognized as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Bowling Student-Athlete of the Week. This marks her second recognition from the league this season.
Decker achieved a second-place finish out of 216 participants at the Intercollegiate Singles Championship qualifiers held in Addison, Illinois. She became only the second CCIW student-athlete to secure a spot at the ISC national championships. Decker narrowly missed first place by nine pins and was distinguished as the sole qualifier with all six games scoring over 200, culminating in an average score of 225.
Her performance set a new record for Elmhurst.
