The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has announced the Softball Student-Athletes of the Week for performances during games held from Thursday, March 20 to Sunday, March 9.

Jen Kuhn, a senior from Illinois Wesleyan, was recognized as the Hitter of the Week. Kuhn delivered an impressive performance by going 6-for-10 with three doubles and seven RBIs in two doubleheaders played in California over the weekend. On Saturday, she contributed four hits, including two doubles, and drove in four runs to secure a 6-1 victory for the Titans against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. She continued her strong play on Sunday with two more hits and two RBIs in a 3-0 shutout win over Chapman.

Mallory Holland, also from Illinois Wesleyan and a sophomore pitcher, was named Pitcher of the Week. Holland pitched a total of 12 innings without allowing an earned run during the Titans' opening weekend. On Saturday against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, she pitched five innings in relief, holding opponents to a .105 batting average and achieving 12 ground-ball outs. On Sunday at Chapman, she secured her third collegiate win by pitching all seven innings in another shutout victory while scattering five hits and inducing numerous ground-ball outs.
