State Representative Jennifer Sanalitro expressed criticism following Governor Pritzker's State of the State Address. She accused the governor of using his budget address to attack Republicans, despite residents' desire for bipartisanship and unity.

Sanalitro stated, "During a time when residents are craving bipartisanship and unity, Governor Pritzker used his budget address to divisively attack Republicans for the failures caused by his own policies." She further attributed several issues to the governor's administration, including inflation due to government overspending, high taxes and regulations pushing job creators out of Illinois, and unsafe communities resulting from policies favoring criminals and noncitizens over law-abiding residents.
