Later that day, at 21:16 UTC, Rep. Casten commemorated Holocaust Remembrance Day with a tweet stating "Today marks 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz. On Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember the approximately 6 million Jewish people and millions of others including political dissidents, intellectuals, Roma, and LGBTQ people murdered during the Holocaust."

At 22:36 UTC on the same day, Rep. Casten announced new legislation with his tweet "Last week, I introduced the Responsive Energy Demand Unlocks Clean Energy, or REDUCE, Act. This legislation is a win-win for consumers and the environment. Read more:" highlighting his ongoing efforts to promote clean energy solutions.
