Illinois lawmakers return for 'Lame Duck' session ahead of new assembly

Lawmakers in Illinois have reconvened in Springfield to conclude the 103rd General Assembly. This session, known as the "Lame Duck" session, represents the final votes lawmakers will cast before the new General Assembly is sworn in on January 8th, 2025.
