State Representative Jennifer Sanalitro of Hanover Park has concluded her first term in the General Assembly with the completion of her 2nd Annual Holiday Food and Coat Drive. The drive, which took place from November 7th to November 21st, gathered nonperishable food items and gently used or new winter coats to assist families and individuals in need during the holiday season.

"This drive is about neighbors helping neighbors during the most important time of the year," stated Rep. Sanalitro. "Seeing our community come together to support one another fills me with gratitude and hope."

The Holiday Food and Coat Drive marked the final outreach event of Sanalitro's first term, concluding two years of public service characterized by impactful events such as Senior Fairs, Kids Fairs, Back-to-School Supply Drives, a Regional Job Fair, Prescription Drug Drop-offs, Free Community Shred Events, and multiple Informational Town Halls.

These initiatives have provided resources, connections, and opportunities to thousands of local residents and demonstrated Rep. Sanalitro's commitment to serving her district.

"I am truly humbled and honored to have the opportunity to serve the community in my role as a State Representative," said Sanalitro. "I look forward to continuing to host this annual event lineup, along with some new events in the 104th General Assembly, set to occur during the 2025-2026 calendar years."
