Behind Enemy Lines announced a Grassroots Rising Fundraiser Lincoln/Trump Dinner on October 17, hosted at Chucks BBQ in Darien, with special guest speakers and hosts.

The event will feature special guests Chris Adamo, the author of "Rules for Defeating Radicals," and Tana Goertz, The Apprentice Star & Trump Special Advisor, and author of "From the Basement to the White House."

Guest speakers include Larry Bettag, the founder of the Warriors, who will discuss creating and growing grassroots movements; Dean White, the chair of the Illinois RNC, Aaron Delmar, who will discuss the future of the GOP in the state, and more.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 17. Tickets are available on the Behind Enemy Lines website.

Terry Newsome, who created Behind Enemy Lines alongside Paul Drabik, shared with DuPage Policy Journal in an interview about his excitement for keynote speaker Chris Adamo.

"Adamo wrote this book 'Rules for Defeating Radicals' to teach people how to fight against the radical left and how they attack us, humiliate us, lie, everything that you're probably familiar with," Newsome said. "He's also going to speak about the RINOS, the establishment, how dangerous they are, which is very very relevant to Illinois and how they get within the organization. How they worry about themselves instead of doing what's right for us as Republicans."

Newsome plans to co-host the event alongside Tana Goertz, who was asked to be a special advisor for President Donald Trump's first campaign.

"We're calling this a grassroots rising event," Newsome told DuPage Policy Journal. "That's why we're calling it the Lincoln/Trump Dinner because the establishment keeps doing the ‘Reagan Dinner.’"
