Former Wheaton Warrenville South High School player and current Christopher Newport Captains third baseman and catcher, Mackenzie Sowonik, will compete in the NCAA D3 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number one seed against the fourth seeded John Jay Bloodhounds.

The first game is on Thursday, May 16.
