City of Elmhurst Development, Planning, & Zoning Committee met Jan. 23.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

1. Call to Order

Chair Deuter called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

2. Roll Call

Absent: Park

Staff Present: Franz, Gal, Grabowski

5. Business Before the Committee

A. Development, Planning & Zoning Committee Meeting Minutes January 8, 2024

Alderman Veremis moved to approve the minutes of the DP&Z Committee on January 8, 2024. Chair Deuter seconded. Voice Vote. Motion passed.

B. Case 24 P 01 Churchville Middle School Conditional Use Permit for a Planned Unit Development – 155 Victory Parkway

CP Franz summarized the request. David Evans and Dave Gassen were present to address questions. Chair Deuter asked about the second neighborhood meeting. Staff clarified that a second meeting was necessary to meet the City’s radius requirements.

Alderman Veremis made a motion to approve a report recommending approval of a conditional use permit for a Final Planned Unit Development for Churchville Middle School. Chair Deuter seconded. Voice Vote. Motion Passed.

C. Request for Extension - Mastrino

CP Franz summarized the variation extension request. If granted, the extension would be valid for 6 months from the date of expiration. Alderman Veremis made a motion to approve a report recommending approval of a variation extension for 757 S. Parkside. Chair Deuter seconded. Voice Vote. Motion passed.

None.

7. Adjournment

Alderman Veremis moved to adjourn at 6:44 p.m.  Chair Deuter seconded. Voice Vote.

Motion passed.
