8th Congressional District candidate Mark Rice vehemently criticized the Biden administration’s immigration policies on Facebook, decrying what he perceives as a deliberate undermining of national security, emphasizing the impact on northern Illinois. The condemnation came as the Kane County GOP issued a statement denouncing the recent drop-off of migrants in Chicago suburbs, blaming the influx on the Biden administration’s open-border policy, and highlighting the widening reach of the immigration issue beyond border areas.
“We don’t need partisan hacks and derelict politicians controlling our great country anymore,” Rice said on Facebook. “We the people must take a stand to start pushing back because the influx right now of illegal migrants is unsustainable.”
“It’s clear the Biden administration is all in to sabotage us. Just because we don’t live on the border, doesn’t mean we here in northern Illinois won’t be impacted by this blatant sabotage of our country’s security!”
The Kane County GOP echoed Rice's sentiments in their statement condemning the recent drop-off of 38 migrants at Elburn Metra train station—a trend observed across various Chicago suburbs. They attributed this influx to what they described as enraging border policies enacted by the Biden administration.
"The flood of migrants streaming into our country, all thanks to the Biden administration’s wide-open border policy, is enraging," Andro Lerario, chairman of the Kane County Republican Central Committee, said according to Shaw Local. "This issue is no longer confined to the distant border; it’s happening right here in our neighborhoods."
