Regarding consideration of proposed real estate tax levy increase for the City of La Salle: during the course of the public hearing, explanation of the reasons for the proposed increase shall be provided and persons desiring to be heard shall be permitted an opportunity to present testimony and be heard, all pursuant to and in furtherance of law.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Minutes of the Regular City Council meeting held November 14, 2022.

DISCUSSION AND POTENTIAL ACTION ON THE FOLLOWING PETITIONS: Request from Ameren Illinois to break ground at 138 Vermilionvue Trace to install gas service and related matters.

Treasurer’s Report for October 2022 showing total cash balances in La Salle State Bank of $14,202,837.74 and in Hometown National Bank of $6,945,705.40.

DISCUSSION AND POTENTIAL ACTION ON THE FOLLOWING ADDITIONAL ORDINANCES/RESOLUTIONS:

An Ordinance authorizing zoning changes from R-4 Multiple Dwelling District to C-2 Commercial District for property located at 737 8th Street, La Salle, La Salle County, Illinois and related matters.

Ordinance further regulating traffic within the City of La Salle (“New Public Way”) and related matters.

COMMENTS

EXECUTIVE SESSION

Regarding pending and/or potentially imminent litigation and related matters: Collective bargaining and related matters, and acquisition and/or sale of city real estate and related matters and the employment, discipline, appointment, performance and/or compensation of non-union and/or union personnel and related matters pursuant to the Open Meetings Act including 5-ILCS 120 Section 2(c)1-2,5,6,11 thereof.
