Bloomingdale House Fire Collection at Fire Station 21
Recently, one of our Bloomingdale families tragically lost their house to a fire; fortunately, everyone got out safely along with pets, however, the home was destroyed, along with everything inside. One of the family members is a student at DuJardin Elementary and the school is collecting items to help support the family while they recover from the loss of their home and all personal items.
The Bloomingdale Fire Department is a designated donation point to help DuJardin collect the items in need, listed below. They will be collecting until next Friday, April 1st at the main station, Station 21 located at 179 S. Bloomingdale Road. If you have any questions regarding this collection, please contact Robert Spejcher at (630)894-9080.
The DuJardin PTO is also hosting a fundraising event for the family on Monday, April 4th from 5-8 PM at Portillo’s (134 E Lake St.) View the event flyer for more information.
