Report: Queen Bee School District spent $14,193 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Queen Bee School District 16 was up 16.3 percent from five years ago, according to the DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $12,206 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,193 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,926 to 1,753 students over the same period.

Queen Bee's spending in 2019-20 was 2.1 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
