Q1 Recap: 4 parolees from DuPage County convicted of drug crimes set for release

There were four offenders convicted of drug crimes living in DuPage County released on parole during the first quarter of 2021, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the DuPage Policy Journal.

The data shows two men and two women were among the parolees. The median age of the parolees sentenced for drug crimes was 45. The youngest parolee was a 26-year-old woman sentenced in 2020, and the oldest was a 54-year-old woman sentenced in 2020.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Daniel L. Forcucci. He was convicted in 2019 when he was 48 years old. He is now 50.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The following table shows how many offenders convicted of drug crimes were paroled during the first quarter of 2021 in each Illinois county.
