Former Republican state Rep. Jeanne Ives almost has as many questions about the results as there were votes cast in DuPage County during the recent 2020 election.

"We know there's 128 voters over the age of 100 who voted in 2020,” Ives said during a BreakthroughIdeas.com podcast. “Thirty-seven of them for the first time that I can see since 2016. Some of them are, you know, well three of them are 121, 121 and 119, which would make them three of the oldest people in the world but they all happen to reside in DuPage County. The bottom line is the database is a mess.”

In the face of all the alarming developments, DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin recently announced that his office filed multiple charges related to election fraud in the 2021 municipal election.

The charges stem from more than 30 investigations conducted by the State’s Attorney’s Office into allegations of election fraud since the November 2020 general election. In one of six active cases, Judge Michael Fleming issued a $1,000 personal recognizance arrest warrant for Susan Cain on seven Class 3 Felony charges that included three counts of forgery and four counts of perjury in election code.

It is alleged that on four occasions, Cain completed an online application to vote by mail using the name of another DuPage County resident. It is further alleged that on three occasions, she signed the names of three of those residents on the ballot envelope prior to the ballots being mailed.

“Fair and free elections are the bedrock of a functioning democracy,” Berlin said. “While the six cases charged represent an extremely small fraction of all votes cast, to ensure the integrity of the election process, it is important that we investigate anyone suspected with interfering in our elections and file charges where appropriate."
