State Rep. Seth Lewis has introduced a new program that would widen his team’s engagement with his constituents.
Lewis is deploying his staff in several locations to reach out to and offer assistance to citizens regarding the state’s various programs.
“I believe it’s important to bring assistance and services directly to people, which is why I’m excited to be making staff available at various locations throughout the district,” Lewis said.
The traveling office hours program has already been launched and two dates are currently available, one each for Carol Stream and Itasca.
Lewis staff at Carol Stream will be at Simkus Recreation Center at 849 W. Lies Road from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on March 9.
Staff for Itasca will be at Itasca Park District on March 16, at 350 Irving Park Road starting from 9 to 11 a.m.
No appointments are necessary and everyone from the 45th District is welcome. Social distancing is required.
The staff deployed for the traveling hours program can also answer constituents’ inquiries or provide information on existing issues in Illinois.
Anyone who has questions about the program may call (630) 349-0645 or leave a message through the contact form on the House GOP website at https://www.ilhousegop.org/lewiscontact.
