Democratic incumbent Terra Costa Howard has won her reelection bid by defeating Republican Peter Breen in the Senate District 48 seat contest.
She took to social media to express her happiness over the victory.
“ We did it! The vote totals are finally in, and we won!,” wrote Costa on Twitter.
“This has been a campaign- and a year- like no other. Despite all the unprecedented obstacles, we managed to work together and get the job done,” she added.
