Analysis: Clarendon Hills pays $3.94 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Clarendon Hills Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 78.9 percent of the $598,048 the Clarendon Hills Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.94 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Clarendon Hills contributed $471,591 to the fund, which saw a $22,947 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $119,587, or 20 percent, in 2018. Another $6,870 came from other unspecified sources.
