City of Elmhurst Development, Planning and Zoning Committee met May 26.

Here is the agenda provided by the committee:

The Governor of the State of Illinois has declared a Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation in response to the COVID-19 outbreak requiring individuals to shelter in place and restricting gatherings to 10 persons or less.

The City of Elmhurst has been conducting public meetings electronically during these emergency periods for the protection of the public and compliance with the emergency restrictions. City Hall will be open for the public to attend meeting with proper social distancing. Residents are encouraged to wear face coverings if attending the meeting in person.

To allow staff time to assist in preparing for the meeting, persons wishing to speak during Public Forum must sign up in advance with the City Clerk's Office at 630-530-3015 or email [email protected] no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.

The City of Elmhurst has arranged to have a teleconference call in line for those that would like to listen to the meeting and/or speak during public comment. City staff will deliver the list of those persons signed up to speak to the committee before the beginning of the meeting. Speakers will be called upon in the order the requests are received by the City. Public comment is limited to three minutes. Participants are only allowed to participate in the Public Forum portion of the agenda. Participants can listen to the remainder of the meeting via the teleconference line.
