Lombard home prices rise in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Lombard rose by $46,500 while total sales increased by 90.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 105 homes sold, with a median sale price of $240,000 - a 24% increase over the $193,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 55 homes sold in Lombard in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Lombard for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $5,641, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
