Glen Ellyn art teacher Becky Illingworth says Americans who voted for President-Elect Donald Trump are "racists" and that, if they own businesses, those businesses should be boycotted.

Illingworth made the statement on Facebook, criticizing the owners of the restaurant Moveable Feast in Wheaton, after they posted a banner in support of Trump.

"I really appreciate when racists announce themselves," Illingworth wrote. "It makes deciding where to spend my money so much easier."

Illingworth, 42, previously taught art at Schaumburg School District 54, according to her Linkedin. She's a West Chicago native.

Illingworth and her husband, Steven, purchased a home in Glen Ellyn in 2009, according to Blockshopper.com. Steven is a senior vice president at U.S. Bank.

Both Becky and Steven attended Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, where they were both involved in student government.

In 2022, both Becky and Steven signed witness slips opposing Illinois House Bill 4083, which would have barred school mask mandates. The bill was never called for a vote by House Democrat leadership.

According to Illinois State Board of Elections records, both are Democrat primary voters.

Since 2000, ISBE records show Becky Illingworth has voted in four Democrat primaries, and zero Republican. Steven has voted in ten Democrat primaries and zero Republican.

Moveable Feast is owned by Matt and Ashley Marquez.
