Westmont home prices rise in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Westmont rose by $44,750 while total sales increased by 31.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 58 homes sold, with a median sale price of $262,250 - a 20.6% increase over the $217,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 44 homes sold in Westmont in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Westmont for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,916, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
