Hinsdale (DuPage County) home prices fall in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Hinsdale in DuPage County fell by $62,500 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 54 homes sold, with a median sale price of $737,500 - a 7.8% decrease over the $800,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 36 homes sold in Hinsdale in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Hinsdale for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $13,467, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
