Darien home prices rise in March 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2019 in Darien rose by $5,500 while total sales increased by 162.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2019, there were 21 homes sold, with a median sale price of $283,000 - a 2% increase over the $277,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Darien in March 2018.

The median sales tax in Darien for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $5,954, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for March 2019.
