The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Michael J. Madigan (D-22) on Dec. 10, will amend the Prevention of Tobacco Use by Minors and Sale and Distribution of Tobacco Products Act, according to the General Assembly website.
The measure passed the House on April 11. Assuming the House concurs with the Senate, the measure will be sent to the governor to decide if it should be signed into law.
