Glendale Heights home prices fall in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Glendale Heights fell by $50,000 while total sales increased by 42.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 344 homes sold, with a median sale price of $130,000 - a 27.8% decrease over the $180,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 242 homes sold in Glendale Heights in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Glendale Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $5,552, approximately 4.3% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
