St. Charles (DuPage County) home prices fall in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in St. Charles in DuPage County fell by $35,250 while total sales decreased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $208,250 - a 14.5% decrease over the $243,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in St. Charles in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in St. Charles for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,903, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
