Illinois Worker's Compensation workshop planned for April 2 in Naperville

The Illinois Chamber of Commerce will host an Illinois Worker's Compensation workshop Tuesday, April 2 at the NIU Center in Naperville beginning at 10 a.m.

Billed as a from “A to Z” workshop, the seminar will be presented by attorneys from the law firm of Keefe, Campbell, Biery & Associates of Chicago and will cover workers' comp issues ranging from “causation and determination of workplace relatedness, benefit, delivery and appropriate avenues of denial, strategies to reduce claim costs & improve outcomes” and “medication trends shaping workers’ compensation,” according to the flyer for the event.

The forum is slated to be handled in an informational format, including question-and-answer sessions. The day will also include "real-world case examples of past strategies for success and pitfalls to avoid based upon unfavorable past results,” the flyer states.
