B.Accept Public Safety and Finance Committee recommendation, waive second reading, and pass ordinance O2018-56, amending City Code Chapter 3, Title 5, Section 6, to prohibit parking on the south side of Calumet Avenue from a point 185 feet east of the southeast corner of Calumet Avenue and Talbot Avenue to a point 330 feet east of the same corner on weekdays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
C.Accept Public Safety and Finance Committee recommendation, waive second reading, and pass ordinance O2018-57, amending language under City Code Chapter 4, Title 2, Emergency Management Agency
D.Accept Public Safety and Finance Committee recommendation, waive second reading, and pass ordinance O2018-58, authorizing the disposal of City-owned property through an auction conducted by Obenauf Auction Services Inc.
E.Accept Public Safety and Finance Committee recommendation, waive second reading, and pass ordinance O2018-59, authorizing the disposal of City-owned property through and auction conducted by PropertyRoom.com
F.Accept Public Safety and Finance Committee recommendation, pass resolution R2018-57, approving a renewal quote for City insurance coverages for calendar year 2019, from Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., in the amount of $392,801
G.Accept Public Safety and Finance Committee recommendation and i) adopt the banded salary range model with actual salary ranges adjusted with FY 2020 salary data collected through a survey of the 15-comparable communities to be presented in final form as part of the FY 2020 budget; ii) authorize the Compensation Work Group to convene annually going forward, as needed, to review the impacts of the new comparable and compensation structure to ensure the compensation structure aligns with the City’s goals of attracting and retaining quality employees; and iii) direct the City Administrator to present a solution to address the impacts to those employees that are outside of their new salary range as part of the FY 2020 budget process.
