WARRENVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT: Police Investigate Shots-Fired Incident

Warrenville Police Department issued the following announcement on Sept. 28.

On Thursday, September 27, 2018, at approximately 10:12 p.m., Police Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 2S700 block of Winchester Circle West. 

Upon arrival, damage was discovered to one residential quad-plex unit consistent with gunfire. 

The affected residence was occupied at the time of the shooting; however, no injuries were reported. The offender(s) fled the area prior to police arrival.

This incident is considered isolated, and there is no threat to the general public.
