Of the 71 in-school suspensions, all of whom were elementary or middle schoolers.
The district reported that most in-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons. The category includes 63 incidents. There were four incidents of violence without physical injury. For 44 incidents, students were suspended for a day or less.
Of the 58 out-of-school suspensions, 42 were given to boys and 16 were given to girls, all of whom were elementary or middle schoolers.
The district reported that most out-of-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons. The category includes 40 incidents. There were seven incidents of a dangerous weapon, other than a firearm. For 23 incidents, students were suspended for a day or less.
