CITY OF WEST CHICAGO: Library Card Design Contest Announced

City of West Chicago issued the following announcement on July 12.

Pull out those art supplies and let your creativity flow! The West Chicago Public Library is hosting its first ever library card design contest as part of its festivities celebrating the 25th anniversary of its building at 118 W. Washington Street.

The contest is open to all West Chicago Public Library District residents. Adults, teens, and children are invited to create an original design for a WCPLD library. Artwork can be created traditionally with paint, colored pencil, pen, etc. or with computer-generated graphics. Limit one entry per person. Pick up the contest guidelines and design template at the library or download from www.wcpld.info.

Age category winners will receive a $50 Amazon gift card. Prizes will be awarded at the Library’s 25th Anniversary Open House on Friday, October 5, 2018.
