Durkin, Olsen, Wehrli, Winger vote ‘yes’ in House ERA vote

Illinois State House Rep. Jim Durkin supports the ERA measure.

Illinois House GOP Leader Jim Durkin (R-Western Springs), State Rep. David Olsen (R-Downers Grove), State Rep. Grant Wehrli (R-Naperville) and State Rep. Christine Winger (R-Wood Dale) voted in support of the so-called “Equal Rights Amendment,” helping to pass the measure 72-45.

They were four of 10 House Republicans who voted Wednesday in favor of the resolution, which has been aggressively lobbied for by groups like Women's March Chicago.
