CareNet of DuPage is teaming up with Heroic Media to provide hotline training for high-risk situations regarding pregnancies.
CareNet has been working with pregnant woman in emergency scenarios for more than 36 years. It is focused on helping women with unplanned pregnancies who are facing an uncertain future. CareNet has four locations in the DuPage County area and features a hotline service and website chat. It plans to open a fifth site in West Chicago this fall.
Heroic Media also assists women with unintended pregnancies and gives various options to ease the choice of life for their child. Heroic Media prides itself on being an pro-life organization. It plans to work with CareNet of DuPage to expand its initiatives via hotline training, which will include role playing and dealing with a typical emergency call situation.
"CareNet DuPage is committed to providing real choice and practical help to mothers who feel abortion is their only option," CareNet President Barbara Singer said, according to a press release.
