Winston-Salem Dash fall to Greensboro Grasshoppers, 7-3, as George Wolkow goes hitless

The Greensboro Grasshoppers topped the Winston-Salem Dash 7-3 on Friday, June 19, at 6:30 p.m., as former Downers Grove North High School standout George Wolkow finished the game 0-for-3 for the Dash.

The contest was held at Truist Stadium and marked the 16th faceoff this season between the teams. The Dash now trail 7-9 in their season series with the Grasshoppers.

Wolkow recorded 1 run, 2 walks, a strikeout, and left 4 runners on base during the game.

The Dash are set to return to action against the Winston-Salem Dash at Truist Stadium on Saturday, June 20.
