Citizens for Gaughan owes $21,750 in fines

The campaign committee Citizens for Gaughan owes a $5,000 fine imposed on May 25, 2012, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $16,750 with David Gaughan listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 172 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $995,091 in pending fines.
