3. PUBLIC COMMENT - PUBLIC COMMENT IS LIMITED TO THREE MINUTES PER PERSON

Kay McKeen with SCARCE informed the Committee that the Sustainable Design Challenge will be held on April 4, 2017. Also, on March 11, 2017 there will be a Teacher's Workshop at Elmhurst Quarry. Chair Zay thanked Ms. McKeen for her hard work.

There was no Old Business. Member Curran departed at 7:39 am.

11. NEW BUSINESS

Member Fichtner inquired that with the new Federal Administration if there was consideration that they will clarify their mandates and regulations as to what Counties must do. Director Charlton is hopeful that they will.

Chair Zay informed the Committee that we have received notice that the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District (MWRD) pulled out of the Salt Creek River Group. Staff has reached out to the MWRD and the Salt Creek River Group to preserve our relationship with both organizations.

None.

13. ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Member Brummel, seconded by Member Noonan to adjourn the meeting at 7:41 AM. On a voice vote all members aye. Motion carried.
