A. Judicial and Public Safety Committee - Regular Meeting - Tuesday January 3rd, 2017 

6. Budget transfers

A. Budget Transfers -- Transfer of funds from account nos. 53070 (medical services) and 50020 (holiday pay) to account nos. 50000 (regular salaries), 50040 (part time help), 51010 (employer share I.M.R.F.) and 51030 (employer share social security) for the Probation Department in the amount of $12,717.00 to cover employee benefits for the final year-end expenses for FY'16. B. Budget Transfers -- Transfer of funds from account no. 52828 (contingencies) to account nos. 50000 (regular salaries), 51010 (employer share I.M.R.F) 51030 (employer share social security) and 51040 (employee med & hosp insurance) for the Law Library in the amount of $6,926.00 to cover expenses for the end of FY16. C. Budget Transfers -- Transfer of funds from account nos. 52220 (wearing apparel) and 52000 (furn/mach/equip small value) to account no. 53090 (other professional services) for the Coroner's Office in the amount of $3,895.00 to cover the expenses of laboratory and removal company for 2016 invoices. 7. ACTION ITEMS A. FI-R-0143-17 RESOLUTION -- Acceptance of a Change in Grant Term of the National Forensic Science Improvement Program FY16 Agreement No. 716503 for the Sheriff's Office B. FI-R-0144-17 RESOLUTION -- Acceptance and Appropriation of the Tobacco Enforcement Program Grant FY2017, for the Sheriff's Office, Company 5000 - Accounting Unit 4530 - $3,960

C. JPS-P-0052-17 Recommendation for a contract purchase order to Currie Motors for the purchase of three (3) 2017 Ford for Transportation for the Sheriff, for a contract total not to exceed $84,450.00. Per Cooperative Purchasing Agreement Pricing, in compliance with 30 ILCS 525/2 "Governmental Joint Purchasing Act" – NWMC Northwest Municipal Conference #150. D. JPS-P-0053-17 Recommendation for approval a contract purchase order to Currie Motors, for the purchase of twelve (12) 2017 Ford Utility Police Interceptor AWD vehicles for the Sheriff's Office, for a contract total amount not to exceed $328,164.00, Per Cooperative Purchasing Agreement Pricing, in compliance with 30 ILCS 525/2 "Governmental Joint Purchasing Act" – NWMC Northwest Municipal Conference #152.

E. JPS-P-0054-17 Recommendation for the approval of a contract purchase order to SWC Technology Partners for implementation, testing, stabilization and deployment of Sheriff's inmate search, warrant search and foreclosure listing site for the Sheriff's Office, for a contract total not to exceed $46,335.00. Other Professional Service not subject to competitive bidding per 55 ILCS 5/5-1022(a). Vendor selected pursuant to DuPage County Code Section 2-300.4-108 (1) (b). F. 2017-38 Recommendation for the approval of a contract purchase order to Wheaton College Conference Services to cover food expenses for the Advanced Severe Weather Seminar being held on March 11, 2017 for OEM, for a contract total amount not to exceed $10,937.60. Other Professional Service not subject to competitive bidding per 55 ILCS 5/5-1022(a). Vendor selected pursuant to DuPage County Code Section 2-300.4- 108 (1) (b).

G. Consent Item -- Amendment to Service Agreement 1346-0001 SERV, issued to Lisa Salvadore, to provide individual and group counseling sessions for MICAP grant participants, to close the contract amount $14,000.00. A decrease of 100%. H. Consent Item -- Amendment Service Agreement 599-0001 SERV, issued to Lisa Salvadore, to provide individual and group counseling sessions for MICAP grant participants, to decrease and close the contract amount $13,250.00, resulting in an amended contract total amount of $750.00, a decrease of 94.6%.
