Spots in youth-basketball leagues remain open in the Bartlett Park District, according to the District's website.

The leagues with spots available are third-grade boys, fourth-grade boys, coed first grade and coed second grade.

Participants in the third- and fourth-grade boys leagues will have player evaluations from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at the Bartlett Community Center, 700 S. Bartlett Road. A coaches blind draft will be held to determine the rosters for each team.

The coed teams will be randomly selected. The third- and fourth-grade teams will have 10-game seasons, while the coed teams will have eight-game seasons.

Registration deadline is Dec. 3. Practices start Jan. 30. The coed leagues will have games on Saturdays beginning Feb. 18, while the third- and fourth-grade leagues will have games on Fridays and Saturdays beginning Feb. 17.

Players have to wear black shorts with the team T-shirts they receive.
