Jereme Ombogo Wide Receiver at North Park University | North Park University
Jereme Ombogo from North Park and Ernie Waterson from Illinois Wesleyan have been recognized on the 2024-25 Academic All-America men's track & field/cross country team. The announcement was made by College Sports Communicators on Wednesday.
Ombogo, a senior majoring in marketing and economics with a 3.93 GPA, was named to the Second Team. Waterson, also a senior studying economics with a 3.51 GPA, earned a spot on the Third Team.
This marks the first time both student-athletes have received this national honor.
The Division III Academic All-America program is financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure to assist College Sports Communicators in managing awards fulfillment for the 2024-25 program.
