The City Council of Warrenville, Illinois held its regular meeting on March 21 and approved recommendations from the Planning Commission.
After approving the minutes from the March 7, 12, and 14 meetings, the council moved on to the regular meeting topics.
Under the consent agenda, council members accepted the Planning Commission’s recommendation on several ordinances, including one regarding pavement setbacks and for the special use of automobile gas stations.
Then they accepted the recommendation from the Planning Commission and approved Ordinance 2989, which concerned the Warrenville Road Resubdivision Plat, located at the southwest corner between Warrenville Road and Mignin Drive.
In addition, the committee accepted a recommendation from the Community Development Committee and approved the City of Aurora’s intergovernmental agreement with Warrenville. This agreement applies to the disconnection and annexation of the Butterfield East project.
The council also approved of an agreement with Apex Landscaping Inc. to offer landscape maintenance services along the medians and parkways in the city. The council also approved of a project with Trotter and Associates Inc. to extend the Warren Avenue watermain project.
