Strick promises smaller government, lower taxes
As he prepares for the upcoming election, Mike Strick, Republican candidate for the Illinois House in the 8th District, visited Oswego Village Hall Wednesday to meet local residents and leaders and speak briefly on critical issues.
“Illinois is really broken,” Strick said, explaining how uncontrollable spending at the state level has created higher taxes and squelched job growth for residents.
Strick’s platform includes a commitment to lower taxes and offset the budget to lower debt. He also supports smaller government and term limits for legislators.
