The St. Charles Government Operations Committee held its regular meeting Tuesday immediately following the City Council meeting.
The committee reviewed recommendations for the approval of several pending liquor license applications, including requests for Brown’s Chicken (1910 Route 38), Liu Brothers Bistro (1554 E Main Street), St. Charles and the Breakfast Rotary Club Lincoln Park event.
The Inventory Control Division also had business to address -- granting approval for St. Charles' mayor and city clerk to approve the purchase of a 2016 Ford F-150 from Zimmerman Ford and sell a 2010 Ford F-150 (Vehicle #1767) -- and authorized the sale of several miscellaneous items of personal property owned by St. Charles.
The meeting included an executive session, during which several items of litigation, property acquisition and collective bargaining were discussed.
